Dr. Amy Grabowski

Dr. Amy Grabowski, originally from Buffalo NY, was introduced to chiropractic after having a herniated disc after a lifting injury at the age of 15. She sought treatment from her primary care doctor who sent her to physical therapy. She was then faced with potential surgery until her father brought her to his chiropractor. After chiropractic treatment, Dr. Grabowski was not only able to perform all her activities of daily living, but also able to get back on the soccer field. It was after this experience of avoiding surgical intervention at such a young age that Dr. Grabowski decided to pursue chiropractic as a career.

She started her studies at the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford where she was a member of the women’s soccer team as well as active in the school and community with the Blue and Gold Society as well as the special Olympics. Upon graduation she attended Logan College of Chiropractic where she graduated with both her Doctorate of Chiropractic and her Master’s degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation. Dr. Grabowski completed her clinical internship for her master’s program in her hometown of Buffalo, New York at the Buffalo Spine and Sport Institute, a multi-disciplinary setting working closely with physical therapists, physiatrists, and orthopedic surgeons.

From 2009-2011, Dr. Grabowski practiced in Arlington, VA at NOVA Pain and Rehab. While at NOVA Pain and Rehab, Dr. Grabowski worked with an extensive array of athletes at different levels in their career, most notably the WUSA Women’s Rugby Team, as well as the general public. While in the Washington D.C. area, Dr. Grabowski was also able to give back to the community by volunteering at local events such as the Marine Corps Marathon and Relay for Life.

In 2011 Dr. Grabowski moved to the St. Louis area where she worked for ProActive Chiropractic in Arnold, MO for 7 years prior to joining Vidan Family Chiropractic. Additionally, she worked with St. Louis FC during this tenure in Arnold. Dr. Grabowski is enthusiastic about applying chiropractic to help patients feel their best, perform their best, and live their best lives. She is passionate about helping athletes, pregnant women, and kids of all ages. She loves getting to the root of a problem without the use of medication. Dr. Grabowski has advanced training in Advanced Activator Protocols, Webster Technique, Graston Technique, and TMJD Technique.

Dr. Grabowski lives in Imperial, MO with her husband, Sam, and their two sons, Patrick and Declan. The family enjoys being outdoors together, playing or watching sports, and Disney World.

"We'll get you back to doing what you need to do, want to do, and love to do."
